The third season of the anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, also known as the “Swordsmith Village” arc, will premiere in the early years of 2023, and the show’s creators have revealed a number of exciting plans for the lead-up to the premiere.
A new trailer for Demon Slayer has been released on the Aniplex USA YouTube channel, as reported by Anime Corner. The video is a retrospective of the series, told through film strips with patterned borders that change to fit the subject matter.
Season 1 premieres in April 2019, and Season 2 begins in 2020, with the release of the anime film Demon Slayer: Mugen Train and the episodes covering the “Entertainment District” arc. Later, the clip shifts to the more subdued Mist Hashira and the more upbeat Love Hashira. Ufotable returns for the April 2023 debut of the “Swordsmith Village” arc.
The Third Season of “The Demon Slayer” Is Now Playing in Previews. Still, there’s more where that came from for fans of Demon Slayer. An exclusive showing of the first episode in the “Swordsmith Village” arc was announced for the anime.
Episodes 10 and 11, “Never Give Up” and “No Matter How Many Lives,” will be screened for fans in over 80 countries as part of the “Kimetsu no Yaiba — World Tour Screening” beginning on February 3, 2023, followed by a one-hour special of the premiere episode of Season 3.
Beginning in Japan, the film will be shown with English subtitles and dubs in the United States and Canada on March 3. The tour will continue to other European and Asian cities through March 19: Taiwan. Special guests like producer Yma Takahashi, voice actor Natsuki Hanae and Season 2 opening theme singer Aimer will be on hand for each screening.
A red carpet premiere will be held on February 18 at the Orpheum Theatre to celebrate the upcoming release of the second season of the anime, Demon Slayer, which will begin screening around the world on March 3. Hanae, Takahashi, and Aimer are all set to make appearances and perform at the event. On January 7, tickets will be available through Ticketmaster.
Once the 2019 anime version of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s Demon Slayer aired, the book and its accompanying artwork became an instant hit around the world. Serialization of Demon Slayer started in February 2016 and will wrap up around May 2020.
As of February 2021, it has sold over 150 million copies, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time. After one of Gotouge’s writings was rejected as a serial, the author was advised to write something with a “simple to understand the theme.”
Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of this novel; he becomes a demon slayer after Muzan Kibutsuji murders his family and transforms his sister into a monster. Tanjiro’s acts of generosity toward others, both human and demonic, remain unwavering despite his personal tragedy.
In the end, the story of Demon Slayer is about human sorrow, hope, and perseverance, all themes that are likely to strike a chord with a wide audience. The “Swordsmith Village” arc of Demon Slayer will make its debut in April of 2023. Both Crunchyroll and Funimation offer streaming access to the first two seasons.
