Brown was released from a Washington jail after 36 hours and went to a rehab centre on his own. After 90 days, the judge told him he had to stay until April 23, 2014. Brown broke a rule and got kicked out of the rehab center on March 14, 2014.
He was then sent to Northern Neck Regional Jail. On May 9, 2014, he went to court and was given a sentence of 131 days in jail. The time he had already spent in rehab and jail was taken into account. On June 2, 2014 Brown was released from jail owing to overcrowding.
Brown can’t have a gun because he was convicted of a felony assault in the past. On August 30, 2016, a woman called the police to say that Brown had threatened her in his house with a gun. When the police showed up, Brown wouldn’t let them in.
This led to a standoff, which got the LAPD’s robbery-homicide division and SWAT team involved. He was arrested, but the charges against him were dropped later. Due to his criminal record, Brown can’t go to the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, or Japan.

Chris has lived in a 4-bedroom hilltop mansion in Tarzana, California since 2014. He paid $4.35 million for the house, which has an 8,000-square-foot house on 0.75 acres. He lived in a $1.5 million home on a hillside in the Hollywood Hills from 2011 to 2015.
Brown left this home because he got into a fight with his neighbors over the graffiti he put on the outside of the mansion. He used to live in a condo in West Hollywood, which he bought in 2. The homeowners association basically kicked him out of this condo because he made too much noise and allegedly had dog races in the hallway.
He also often parked his cars in spots for people with disabilities. He sold this property for about what he paid for it in 2011, which was $1.6 million.
